Keep peace in the family.

March 9th.

Kettlebells are for lifting and getting fit, not for fighting over.

Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is the ability to handle conflict by peaceful means.

WO du jour:

Morning: Bands warmup, 100 abmats

50 burpees and pullups

One arm barbell dead lifts. 95lbs to 195 lbs. I tried 200 but only got the Right hand. It was not my grip that gave out, but a pain in forearm extensors. That's why you have to do unilateral movements more often.

afternoon:

Warmup with indian clubs

12 sets of 20 kg kettlebell Push jerks for 1 min each set. 8-10 reps per set.

I get a blog today that had a response to one kettlebell organization pitted against another. This is happening too often and if it keeps up it will be the down fall of a great method of fitness that has come along in years. Mostly it about money and market share, but it makes news as there are but a few big players that has manged to make a full time profession of kettlebell fitness.

No one has a complete system as of yet and its appears to be evolving each day as more people of all backgrounds experiment with kettlebells and its applications. However, too many learn enough to be dangerous and start their own business when they are nothing more than amateur's themselves. If you are good and have you shit together in regards to getting the average person to convert successfully to kettlebell fitness, weather hard of soft styles, then you don't have to worry about the competition.

march 8th.

WO du jour:

48 mile bike ride at easy pace. Yes, there is nothing like getting back in the saddle and out in the fresh air. Legs felt good until the last 5 miles. Not accustomed to the long workout. Mostly ran out of body fuel as I only had a Zone bar.
